Shourouk Bags

Established in 2007, Shourouk’s eponymous brand of haute couture accessories focuses on intricate embroidery complemented by an array of bold colors and ethereal details. Her collections are an ingenious hybrid of both her modern and traditional inspirations with a fusion of contrasting materials from Swarovski crystals, metal sequins and silk to industrial elements. Her unparalleled prowess in elegant details and romantic embellishments is reflected in her vibrant pieces of vanity.

A true Parisian of Tunisian descent, Shourouk graduated from Studio Berçot before honing her techniques at prestigious haute couture fashion houses Chloé and Galliano in Paris and Roberto Cavalli in Florence. She has also done work for John Paul Gaultier. Her pieces of couture are sold in some of the world’s leading retail boutiques in Paris, New York, London, Milan, Hong Kong and Dubai.

Shorouk's work incorporates influences from her atelier’s close proximity to Le Centre Pompidou with its artistic modernity and her propensity for the grandeur of classic luxury jewelry. Her innovative collection has had pieces featured in several episodes of the trendsetting hit television show, Gossip Girl, and was worn by the always fashionable Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City 2. The brand has also developed a list of celebrity fans, including Miroslava Duma, Beth Ditto, Brooklyn Decker, Michelle Obama, Alessandra Lagrottaglie and Jean Paul Gaultier.*

What I admire and crave the most is the luxury PVC bags. The way that the designer has made a fine combination between jewelry and pvc to create a unique bag is undeniably admirable. The moment I accidentally set my eyes on the mini Vladimir bag Elena Perminova was wearing during NY Fashion Week I fell in l.o.v.e.

Below are all the bag pictures I could sneak for you to see and speak your thoughts about them.

Which one is your fav?
